My Pretty Pony
For Christmas Rylan got a pink pony from her cousin Sidney & Anna. Until a few weeks ago Ry was not very mobile so the probability of her actually getting on the pony and riding it around the house I thought was slim so we have yet to take it out of the box. The other day while she was playing in her room she climbed on top of the box and starting rocking back in forth like she was riding the pony. It cracked me up.
Bath Time Fun
So Ry is really loving her bath time these days. She is still into putting everything shiny into her mouth... I'm wondering when that stops. I am in desperate need of a new cell phone which is odd considering I just got a new one last summer. I'm thinking it has something to do with the mass amounts of slobber that sweet Ry has added to it. Anyway...the silver stopper at the bottom of the tub is intriguing to her. She tries to go down and put it in her mouth but she ends up swallowing the water and coughing. It is sad but kind of humorous.

A week in the life of Ry
This past week has been a crazy one. Ry Pi continues to be all over the place. I think to myself, "I need to blog about that" but then another thing happens and I forget...I can't keep up. Rylan, Aunt Essa & I took a trip to Houston this week. Thanks to my amazing mom I am back at work. I am writing Math lessons for a school in Houston. I am so thankful for the opportunity although at times I feel like I can't keep me head above water... which might explain why I'm blogging at 1 in the morning. While I was working Rylan was in good hands with Jessie & Aunt Essa. I know they had a great time. She ate lots of new fun food & even took a bath in the kitchen sink.
When we got back we were all so excited to spend some much needed time with Daddy. Our new thing is going to the Arboretum. We spread out a blanket and just chill. When we went on Friday we cut Rylan's nap short. One of the things that makes me love Ry more is what she does when she is tired, we call it the "sleep check". If you put a blanket over your shoulder and she dives her head into it then she is tired & ready to go to bed. If she does not then you know you need to wear her out a little more before putting her down or she will scream and scream and scream. It's lovely really. Well we were at the Arboretum and Ry's blanket was in her stroller. She crawled over to the stroller and started nuzzling the blanket. When she saw that we were watching her she would start laughing. She did this for a good 2 or 3 minutes. It was so sweet.
