These are a few of her favorite things...

Rylan is such a joy. You will normally find her playing in her room buried under a pile of books. She will spread them all out and then open them up and start kissing all the pictures of the animals. If I didn't know better I would think we have a vet on our hands... too bad her mom & dad don't like pets. She will have to go to her grandparents house to get her animal fix.


She also really likes playing with the Ball Popper that Lou Lou got her. She will chase the balls around the room and then hurry to put them back.


We kind of started to color too. Sometimes she finds mom's markers around the house. She is great at pulling off the caps and writing on herself. I think there is a similar story from my childhood where I did this with smelly markers on the wall of a restaurant. He he!

Troop Trooper

We are finally home! We have been traveling all over for the last few weeks. Rylan's new name is "Troop Trooper" she has done an amazing job sitting in cars, hanging out with high school kids and being flexible. Our first trip of the summer took us to Port Aransas, Texas for high school Beach Camp. Ry did great on the 7 hour car ride. We took a pit stop in San Antonio where she went to the River Walk for the first time. We stayed in a room with 5 high school girls and Aunt Essa. It was fun & we are so glad we went but Ry was definitely ready to be back in her own bed. Here is a pic of her on the drive home. I just want to eat those lips!

Sneeky Little Thing

So I'm loving this cloth diaper thing but Rylan has figured out how to take them off. I learned this the HARD way. Twice I've gone into wake her up and she has pooped in her bed. Now I know that she must have pants on before I put her down. She has got the walking thing down and is all over the place. Brian loves that she can help him water the lawn now. I came home today and she was naked playing in the sprinklers.
