Ry at the Park

So my sweet friend Amanda has been so great helping me get ready for Ry's 2nd birthday, Baby #2 & watching Ry while I go to all these extra doctors appointments. I really don't know what I would do without her. The other day while I was at the doctor the two of them went to the park. Apparently Rylan wanted to bring the little people from her doll house. Amanda said the little people had a great time sliding down the slide "Wheee".

Rylan wanted to climb but she had no place to put the people so they went into her pocket.

I'm sad I missed this crazy day at the park. It looks like they had fun though.

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. We went over to Brian's parents house & dyed Easter eggs, had Easter lunch and Rylan had her first real Easter egg hunt. I did not compete in the hunt this year because there is something about an Easter egg hunt that brings out the competitive side of me. I can't stand to loose (thankfully it does not happen often hehe!) and being 9 months pregnant I was at a HUGE disadvantage this year.

Daddy's Girl

Rylan and Brian have such a fun time together. I am so thankful for their relationship.

Playing in the jumping water fountain by Twisted Root.

Brian took his shirt off to work in the yard so Ry wanted to do the same.

The two of them love to hunt for chameleon lizards, Rylan calls them "Mealkins" . Brian was holding one the other day and it jumped onto Ry's arm. She now says, "Mealkin, No Touch" I think it scared her more than we know because now she wants to wear shoes around EVERYWHERE. If she does not have shoes on she is on her tiptoes.

St. Patrick's Day

It's St. Patrick's Day in the Lonergan house so you know what that means...it's everybody's 2nd birthday. My sweet husband Brian CHRISTIE Lonergan has made it clear that "the day of his ancestors" is a day to celebrate! We had fun this year with: shamrock pancakes (thanks Steph), a rainbow of fruit, green oj & eggs, green pasta & salad for dinner and of course, lots of PRESENTS!

Big Girl Bed

Well we finally did it. On March 7th Rylan officially moved out of the crib and into her "Big Girl" bed. She did a great job in the transition. Her bed has rails on it so it took her about a month to figure out she could climb out of it. I can't believe she is growing up so fast.

We have been busy!

Here is an update on what we have been doing lately:

First, Rylan is in LOVE with princesses. I will say it is a nice break from Elmo. She loves dressing up (using her "Ry blanket" as a cape & putting on hats) and spinning! I seriously don't know how she does not fall over. She could dance to princess music for hours. Her favorite song is from Sleeping Beauty "I Know You" is the part she sings over and over.

I love this picture of Ry & Brian. Brian loves putting her to bed. I know that when he does 9 times out of 10 he will fall asleep in there with her. We soak up all of our "Daddy Time"

I thought this picture was funny with both of them working on their computers. Ry is surprisingly good at working Brian's iphone. Crazy!

She has gotten really good at entertaining herself which is great with baby #2 coming. The other day I went to look for her and she had all of her books pulled out and she was reading to Elmo.

One of her new favorite restaurants is Pei Wei. She can actually use the chopsticks better than her Mom.

Rylan loves playing with her friend Abi.
