We also got the swing set up in the backyard. After many attempts Brian has rigged it to swing straighter although it's still not pefect. We are beginning to think Its not the swing but the kid.

Outdoor Fun
My sweet Aunt Joy LOVES planting flowers. She says it brings her closer to her mother, my Getcha. We took advantage of her gift and asked her to plant some flowers in our backyard. Rylan loves to water the flowers. She goes out with her Daddy everyday. It's really sweet time for the two of them.

Papa's Shoes
Gotta love this smile!
Papa & Jessie are in town to visit & Ry decided to put on Papa's shoes today. That girl loves shoes. She has these red watermelon shoes that she adores. She will find one & bring it to me, I'll put it on then she will walk lopsided around the house until she finds the other one.

The Zoo
This week Ry had her first zoo experience. Rylan had fun with Abi & I loved learning more about how crazy intertwined Angela's & my life are. I still can't believe that we went to the same elementary school and we both remember all the words to the school song. Yea, I know I am a dork.
Oh yes do you see what my daughter is touching... a SNAKE! I am so thankful that Angela held Ry because I seriously think I would have passed out. I already felt like it was slittering all over me and I was standing super far away... I don't want to pass my fears on to Rylan so I thought it was important for her to bond with the snake.
The girl gorilla kept looking at Rylan, it was so cool that she came right up to the glass.
We had to take a picture next to Aunt Katie's favorite animal.
I of course loved the giraffes. They were the first BIG animals we saw & Ry was about to jump out of her stroller she was so excited. She is saying she wants "more" of the giraffes with her hands.
She busts out the big smile when she sees the camera

Celebration!
Friday we went to Dave & Busters to celebrate Aunt Devin's birthday.
Ry loved the ski ball machine. A girl after my own heart. My Papa used to take me to Showbiz Pizza, now Chucky Cheese, when I was little and no lie people would stop and watch me play the ski ball machine. Hehe! Ry walked up and down the runway of the machine. It didn't matter that she was in a dress she was all over the place.
On Friday we had Jessica Appreciation Day so we headed to Lowe's to get some light bulbs. When we were leaving Ry & I walked ahead of Brian & she leaded out of the cart a little and said, "Hi Dad" Who knows if that is what she really said but it sure sounded like it. It totally made Brian's night.

Sweet Ry
Ry totally keeps us on our toes. Everyday she is full of more surprises. Some surprises are more fun than others. She has been so fussy the last few days. I can't tell if she is just playing with the boundries or if she really is on the verge of more teeth or something that might justify her moods. Here have been some of the fun moments lately...
My favorite time of day is when Ry drinks her milk. It is truly one of the only times that she is still & snuggly. In the morning I go into her room & get her then we usually get back in bed & snuggle while she drinks her half a cup of milk, if I give her the whole thing she won't eat breakfast. It's hard to believe I used to hold her in one hand and now her feet dangle when we hold her.

Visit to Court's
Last week Ry & I took a trip to Waco to visit Court. It was so great just sitting on the couch & catching up. I love how God develops friendships over the years. It's hard to believe that I have know Court since 5th grade. I constantly pray for Ry to have good friends that will encourage her in her faith & I am so thankful that I have found that in Court. Ry loved being at the Albert's. She really enjoyed playing with one of the four dog kennels. She took out the blanket and would open the door, put her milk inside, close the door, then open the door grab her milk, take a sip, put it back and then close the door. She did this for a good 15 minutes. It was really cute. She also liked to take her doll "Chamica" and put it in RC's seat and rock it back and forth. That girl makes me smile!
